For nearly 500 years, Jesuit education has been a beacon of faith, intellectual rigor, and service to others. At St. Ignatius, we are proud to carry forward this timeless tradition in San Francisco for the past 170 years, even as the landscape of our community evolves.

In “Keeping the Faith,” our latest Wildcat Alumni Network video, we explore how Jesuit schools like ours are preserving the essence of Ignatian spirituality and pedagogy in the absence of Jesuit priests. Through the dedication of our lay faculty members — who are deeply trained in divinity and Jesuit values — we continue to uphold the mission of forming men and women for others. You’ll hear from these inspiring educators about how they integrate Ignatian principles into their teaching, mentorship, and spirituality in the daily lives of our students, ensuring that the flame of Jesuit education burns brightly for future generations.
